Jollo is a free game-finder for parties, families, and get-togethers. These are the basic terms for using it. This is a plain-English document written for a small independent project, not a law firm's contract — read it as an honest description of how Jollo is run.
Using Jollo
Jollo is free to use. You can browse games without an account. Creating an account lets you favorite games, rate them, leave comments, and submit your own games.
Acceptable use
When you use Jollo, please don't:
- Post comments or submit games that are abusive, harassing, hateful, or illegal.
- Impersonate someone else or misrepresent your identity.
- Try to break, abuse, or overload the site (scraping, spamming submissions, and the like).
- Submit content you don't have the right to share.
Submitted games and comments
Anything you submit — a game, a comment, a rating — is reviewed and moderated by hand. We may edit, decline to publish, or remove any submission or comment at our discretion, including after it's already live, for any reason (including violating the acceptable-use rules above, or simply not being a good fit for the catalog). We'll generally do this without prior notice.
Your account
You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for what happens under your account. Let us know if you think your account has been compromised.
No warranty
Jollo is provided free of charge and "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee the site will be available, error-free, or uninterrupted, and we don't guarantee that any game listed is safe, accurate, or suitable for your group — use your own judgment, especially for games involving alcohol, physical activity, or younger players.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Jollo isn't liable for any damages or losses arising from your use of the site or any game you found through it.
Changes
We may update these terms as Jollo evolves. If we do, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use Jollo after a change means you accept the updated terms.
