How to Play

1. 1One player (the word-giver) thinks of a secret word and announces just its first letter. For example: Couch (just say the letter C).
2. 2Everyone else takes turns asking indirect questions designed so the answer would start with that same letter. For example: a common pet
3. 3The word-giver tries to answer each question by saying "No it's not a...." word starting with that letter that isn't the secret word, to throw people off. For example: No it's not a cat!
4. 4If someone else thinks of an answer to the question they say "Contact!" and then the person who said contact and the questioner both say "3, 2, 1, Cat!" and try to say the same word. All before the word-giver can say, "No its not a..." if they beat the word-giver and say the same word, they earn another letter of the secret word.
5. 5Keep going, revealing one more letter each time someone beats the giver, until someone correctly guesses the full secret word. For example if they got Cat, then the word-giver gives them the next letter of "O". Now all questions need to have an answer that starts with CO. For example: a state in the USA (answer Colorado).
6. 6Whoever guesses the secret word becomes the new word-giver for the next round.
